On 29 August 2007, about 2500 people gathered at the heart of Central Jakarta for a mass action. These people are urban poor from all over Jakarta, mainly women, with young and elderly.

On 20 August 2007, around 300 workers gathered and marched to 3 places at 3 different locations: the Ministry of Labour dan Transmigration, Supreme Court and Presidential Palace. The mass action was jointly organized by ABM (Alliance of Challenging Labour) with Federation of Indonesian Peasant Unions, Women Solidarity, Union of Indonesia Hotel Workers, and Indonesian Student Union.
